KEY AREA OF EXPERTISE: PRE-PRIMARY, PRIMARY LEVELS
Having studied in NIE and worked with MOE schools before, Ms Anne Lee is well-versed with the
ever-changing English Language Syllabus in Singapore. Specialising in the teaching of English at
the Primary level, she is cognisant of Singapore’s unique linguistic environment, as well as the
linguistic demands of today’s mainstream Primary English classroom.
While she empowers her students to excel and reach their potential, she is also careful in
attuning to the psychological and emotional needs of the children. Patient yet firm, Ms Lee
acknowledges that each child is different, and always strives to create an inclusive culture in
her classroom. With a strong passion for literacy and English education, she hopes to create a
positive environment for her students to grow into inquisitive inquirers of language.
What Our Educator Says
I grew up thinking I hated English and reading. After my studies at NIE, I realised that neither of that was true! I understood that my discomfort with language when I was younger arose due to the lack of exposure to a wide repertoire of English texts. Here at Creative Campus, I hope to expose my students to a wide variety of linguistically-rich texts, so they may discover their own strengths and appreciate the beauty of language in their own way.
